6 Blessings is provided by the operator of 6 Blessings. Using it means agreeing to what is on this page. It is written to be read.

What this is and is not

6 Blessings is a record-keeping tool. You tell it what you earned and what you gave, and it does the arithmetic you ask for.

It is not religious, tax, legal or financial advice. The rate you use, what you count as income, how you count the year and what counts as giving are your decisions, made with whoever you take guidance from. The figures it shows are only as right as the information and settings you give it, and it is not a substitute for the records your tax authority requires you to keep.

Your account

  • Give a mobile number that is yours, keep it up to date, and keep your PIN to yourself.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Texts. By giving your number you agree to receive texts about your account: codes to confirm your number and to sign in, and notices when your PIN or number changes. Those are the only texts we send. How many you get depends on how you use the service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • One account is for one person or one household.

Bank connections

Connecting a bank is optional, and you can disconnect it at any time. They are made through other companies (Plaid, SimpleFIN), whose own terms apply to your use of them, and they depend on your bank. They can be interrupted, delayed or incomplete. Check anything that matters against your own statements.

Using it fairly

Do not try to reach other people’s information, disrupt the service, or use it for anything unlawful.

Cost

6 Blessings is currently free. If that changes, you will be told what it costs before you are ever charged, and you will never be charged without choosing to subscribe.

Leaving

You can download your records and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that is being used to harm the service or other people.

No guarantees

The service is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available but do not promise that it always will be, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for losses that come from relying on it.

Privacy, changes and contact

How your information is handled is set out in the privacy page. If these terms change in a way that matters, the date above changes and account holders are told.

Questions: the person who invited you to the service.
